Marketing tools include those individualized, targeted messages that you provide to employers, including who you are, what you do and how you do it. The “elevator speech” is a tool that you develop, use, modify and reuse, over and over again in job development. This session will help you hone your personal speech by outlining a process, sharing examples and discussing what works and doesn’t work with employers.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to
- Define the purpose and use of an elevator speech.
- Establish an outline or steps to develop your own speech.
- Compare your message to other examples that work or do not work.
