Develop Your Elevator Speech

Marketing tools include those individualized, targeted messages that you provide to employers, including who you are, what you do and how you do it.  The “elevator speech” is a tool that you develop, use, modify and reuse, over and over again in job development. This session will help you hone your personal speech by outlining a process, sharing examples and discussing what works and doesn’t work with employers. 

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to

  1. Define the purpose and use of an elevator speech.
  2. Establish an outline or steps to develop your own speech.
  3. Compare your message to other examples that work or do not work.
