The Ethics of Disclosure

Disclosure is a matter of extreme importance in the rehabilitation service delivery process. As advocates in the field, rehabilitation professionals need to be well adept in the process of communicating disclosure practices to their consumers, potential employers, and other referral sources in an ethical manner.  In this session, implications for ethical practice and risk management related to professional disclosure will be presented by Rachita Sharma, MS, LPC, CRC.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to

Determine the various types of disclosures present in the rehabilitation process.
Identify ethical principles and CRC/LPC standards pertaining to disclosure.
Apply ethical principles to disclosure related case vignettes
