Continuing Education Courses
Recorded webinars are available for continuing education credits. Topics focus on aspects of job coaching, placement, development & marketing, supported employment, service delivery, ethics & advocacy, aspects of disabilities, and many other related topics.
Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) Certificate
The ACRE Basic Certificate Training is for vocational rehabilitation providers outside of the state of Texas. This training satisfies the basic training requirement for supported employment service providers in Louisiana and Arkansas, and has been endorsed by ACRE. The curriculum is based on competencies outlined in APSE's (Association of People Supporting Employment First) domaine model.
LPC-Supervisor Course
This is a 40 hour post graduate program designed for Licensed Professional Counselors
(LPC) wanting to provide clinical supervision to Licensed Professional Counselor –
Associates (LPC-Associates) in gaining their hours towards full licensure. To become
a qualified Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas,
you must be fully licensed for at least five years and complete a supervisor training
course. This training course must be completed in 90 days.
CRC Exam Prep
The Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) exam is designed for individuals seeking
certification following their graduate education. The exam helps individuals meet
the standards of practice and hold the necessary competencies to be a rehabilitation
counselor. This is an asynchronous, online course designed to prepare learners for the CRC exam.
