In September 2024, the University transitioned departments offering non-credit courses to Professional Learning (ProLearning), a modern system designed to simplify course enrollment and administration. If you're taking courses with UNT WISE, ProLearning is where you'll access your courses, track your progress, and manage your account information. This new system integrates with our learning platform, Canvas.

ProLearning Account Access:

New Users: If you’ve never taken or registered for a course or webinar with UNT WISE, you'll need to create a ProLearning account. Follow the instructions in the "How to Create a New Account Guide" below to create your account.

Previous Users: If you've previously taken a course with UNT WISE, an account has been imported for you using the email address on file. If this is your first time logging into our new system, you’ll need to set up a password. Follow the instructions in the "How to Reset My Password Guide" below to reset your password and log in. If your email has changed since your last course, please contact untwise@unt.edu so we can update the email linked to your account.

Self-Paced vs Instructor-Led:

Instructor-Led Courses (JPS, SE, WR, ACRE) Self-Paced Courses (JST, DIR, AE, BPE)
  • Run for six weeks with set assignment due dates but no required login times or live meetings.
  • Students can work ahead, but assignments are graded only during their designated week.
  • Final Tests completed early will not be processed until 3-5 business days after the course ends.
  • Expedited grading and credential processing may be available for a fee—contact the instructor for details.
  • No instructor or assignment deadlines; students progress at their own pace.
  • Assignments are auto-graded in Canvas, and credentials are processed within 3-5 business days after the Final Test.
  • Expedited processing does not apply.
