ENGAGE Fees and Cost

 

ENGAGE is a fee-for-service program. For the Fall 26 - Spring 27 semesters, the cost averages $3,000 per semester. This fee is in addition to tuition and housing expenses required by UNT. 


Payment contracts and fee schedules must be completed prior to the start of each semester. Specific instructions on next steps to determine ENGAGE service, fees, and payment schedules will be included in the UNT ENGAGE Acceptance letter.

 

Financial Assistance

Q: What are some payment options for students and their families?

A: We accept multiple payment types:

  • Financial Aid through the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • State agency financial support. You will need to reach out to your agency office to verify funding and that ENGAGE services align with their service requirements.
  • FSA/ HSA funding through medical insurance providers. You will need to reach out to your agency to verify funding and that ENGAGE services align with their service requirements.
  • 529 College Savings Plans. You will need to check with your 529 college savings plan state or financial provider to ensure that ENGAGE services are a qualifying expense to avoid any penalties.
Q: Do you offer payment installations?

A: Yes! We have three different payment options. These options include:

  • Pay in Full: the entire payment is due on or before the first day of classes.
  • Pay in Two: the first installment payment is due on or before the first day of classes and the second installment to be due at week 7 of the semester.
  • Pay in Three: the first installment payment due on or before the first day of classes, the second installment to be due at week 5 of the semester, and the third and final installment to be due by week 10 of the semester.

Exact service ranges and due dates will be listed on the Private Pay Contract/s that will be provided once tier support is chosen. Contracts must be signed, and payment must be received to render services. Please note that if payment is not submitted by the agreed upon due date/s, services will pause until payment has been received.

 

Steps to Secure Services for each semester:


1. Admission into the ENGAGE program.
2. Confirmation of payment type from student/ student’s family.
3. Private pay agreement meeting scheduled with ENGAGE staff. This is a meeting to review the student’s preferred tier of support for the semester in addition to payment plans.
4. ENGAGE Staff will send Private Plan Contract and payment submission information to be signed and completed prior to the first day of classes.
5. Student and family complete payment submission by or before the first day of class for the semester.
