The Employment Services Credential Renewal Application and contact hours documentation should be submitted during the last quarter of your credentialing period. You can locate your credential expiration date on the UNTWISE searchable portal. Participants are encouraged to submit their renewal application and the required documentation at least 6-8 weeks before the expiration date to ensure the renewal is processed before your expiration date.
Applications received after the expiration date will be charged a higher renewal fee. Credential renewal applications will not be accepted for processing beyond 90 days after the credential expiration date.
Application Submission Process:
- Download and complete the UNT WISE Credential Renewal Form
- Download all external continuing education certificates of completion, as they must
be submitted with your renewal application. A copy of each course's/training's certificate
of completion should include the following:
- Student's first and last name
- Number of continuing education units/hours
- Date of completion
- Training provider
- Pay the appropriate renewal fee and download a copy of your renewal fee receipt (see scale below)
- In a single email to wiserenewal@unt.edu and please include the following:
- Subject: Renewal Application - jdoe01 (use your credential ID)
- The completed UNT WISE Credential Renewal Form
- Copies of your external certificates of completion

- Renewal applications will be processed in the order they are received. Please allow 10 business days for our staff to review and process complete application packets. Incomplete application packets may be denied and will result in additional processing time.
Review Process:
The review process can take up to 10 business days.
If the renewal application packet meets all the renewal criteria, the searchable portal will be updated to reflect your renewed credentials with a new expiration date.
If the renewal application packet does not meet the renewal criteria, you will receive an email stating the deficiencies with a request to provide additional information or documentation. If the deficiencies are not resolved prior to your expiration date, the credential(s) will expire and you will enter your 90-day grace period.
Processing Fees:
- $60.00 processing fee if submitted by your submission date.
- $120.00 processing fee if submitted after expiration date. NOTE: Your application will not be accepted for processing if it is 90 days after the expiration date.
