About: The AER eLearning platform provides an on-demand option for professionals who are instructors for people of all ages – including transition and working-age adults – to receive tools for teaching skills for vocational readiness and ongoing vocational growth and support. The courses explore evidence-based instructional strategies that support the diverse functional, educational, and employment-related needs of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Participants will examine the intersection of professional service delivery and client-centric outcomes, focusing on fostering independence and self-advocacy through a comprehensive, highly individualized approach. The content addresses the practical application of instructional techniques, ethical considerations in professional practice, and the implementation of inclusive models to support long-term employment success.
